The practice was formed on 1st January 2003 by the founding Partners, Duncan Manners and Robert Pimblett. Sadly, Duncan passed away in February 2005, and since then Robert has been sole Director.
Since December 2019, the firm now has two offices, based in Poynton and Cheadle.

Access to a Solicitor has arguably become more difficult over the last few years following the end of Legal Aid for certain areas of work, however Manners Pimblett have always adopted an ‘open door’ policy. We appreciate not every time you contact us will necessarily lead to a formal instruction. It might be that you simply need some initial guidance to point you in the right direction and help you consider your options.
We will always do our best to see you if you call in to either office, or alternatively you can telephone to make an appointment for a preliminary assessment of your matter. We always encourage initial contact by phone, however, so that we can ensure you speak to the right person quickly.
We have embraced new technology and are happy to communicate with clients by video calls, which have now become second nature since the pandemic.
We know not everyone can come to the office during normal working hours, so if you need to speak to one of us outside our usual 9:00am – 5:00pm opening times, we will always try to accommodate this.
There may also be occasions when we can see you at home, depending on your circumstances.
