Making A Will
The main reason for making a Will is to ensure that your loved ones will be financially provided for when you die. Many people assume that they don’t need a Will. For example, they may not consider themselves to be wealthy enough, or may wrongly assume that certain people will automatically benefit from their Estate.
There are strict rules (known as the Intestacy Rules) which dictate who will inherit your Estate in the absence of a Will. The rules are quite inflexible and can sometimes fail to achieve the outcome you would want or expect.
Review your Will
But what if you already have a Will? It is still important to regularly review it. Changes to your personal circumstances (such as marriage, divorce or a change to your financial position) can make updating the Will necessary.
Making a Will gives you peace of mind in knowing that the people you choose will benefit following your death. We are able to assist with the preparation all types of Wills, from the simple to the more complex, and we will tailor the document to meet your individual needs.
